Age Strong Commission

For us, strength comes in many forms. Strength of community. Of cultures. Of experiences. Strength to embrace new chapters and opportunities. We believe that Bostonians who are 55+ make our City strong and vibrant.

Our mission is to enhance your life with meaningful programs, resources, and connections so we can live and age strong in Boston together.

We have many designations. As a Commission, Council on Aging, and Area Agency on Aging, we are not new to aging. We have been doing this for more than 50 years. Age with us.

Age Strong Survey

We Want to Hear from You!

Boston’s Age Strong Commission and Human Services Cabinet have partnered with Health Management Associates (HMA) to conduct surveys and focus groups to help determine which kinds of spaces, and programming and activities Boston’s older adults most want and need across the city. If you’re an older adult (age 60+) living in Boston, we want to hear from you! The survey will take approximately 10 minutes or less to complete.

The program addresses supporting and improving outcomes for caregivers through providing individual counseling, support groups, caregiver training, respite care, and supplemental services.
