Khalid Mustafa
Khalid Mustafa is a life-long resident of Boston and arrives with a wealth of experience in community advocacy, social equity and human rights advancement. Khalid has participated in, designed, implemented and operated numerous civic initiatives for nonprofit organizations. Working across manufactured divisions, silos and barriers to support the underrepresented Khalid discovered innovative ways to assist others in the most meaningful way.
Khalid is passionate about contributing to the success of others and has dedicated his career to working with those on the frontline as a change maker. He Intimately understands the obstacles and hindrances preventing the dissolution of systemic racism and structural injustices embedded in the fabric of our processes. Khalid has even volunteered for organizations dedicated to changing policies and regulations that lacked inclusiveness for all residents. Khalid understands the landscape, is open to challenging perspectives, and works well with diversity.
With an undergraduate focus on education and technology Khalid earned his Master’s degree in Community Development Policy and Practice. With a solid religious foundation of moral consciousness and extensive real-world experiences on the ground Khalid brings a unique perspective to the table. He is committed to giving back in constructive ways and enjoys the journey of progression.
