Jeanne Dasaro

Business Strategy Manager

Jeanne Dasaro is a Business Strategy Manager for the Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion. She supports the Creative Economy and Industrial/Manufacturing industry in Boston by engaging with existing businesses, and attracting and retaining new businesses.

Jeanne has experience as a social entrepreneur, artist, and community builder. Jeanne served as Executive Director of Greater Ashmont Main Streets, responsible for economic development, urban planning and community building in the Greater Ashmont district of Boston. Prior to this, Jeanne was the Executive Director of the Art Connection, working to create access to original works of visual art in every Boston community. Since 2010, Jeanne has served as the founder of the Wonder Women of Boston network which helped women leaders, artists, and professionals of diverse backgrounds connect with and support each other. Jeanne got her start in education programming at The Lean Enterprise Institute and later at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Jeanne has roots in solutions journalism and community organizing. She’s inspired by anything that emboldens us to take an interest and make a difference in our communities. For her work, Jeanne has been featured in The Boston Globe, O, Oprah Magazine and The Boston Business Journal, Boston Magazine, and The Boston Herald. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business and Leadership from Northeastern University. Jeanne lives with her son in Dorchester.
