VIP Coalitions seek to empower, inform, and strengthen their neighborhoods.
Upham's Corner Health Center with support from the BPHC is working with community residents to address:
- support civic engagement in the VIP Communities
- encourage youth participation in OST and employment opportunities
- reduce physical disorder that contributes to crime
- implement community responses to violence
- provide healthy living referrals and services to all VIP neighborhoods

Monthly Coalition Meetings:
5 Streets Improvement Meetings: 1st Thursday of every month at the Upham's Corner Health Center located at 415 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, MA.
Hancock St. Crime Watch: 3rd Thursdays of every month at the Bird Street Community Center located at 500 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, MA.
Safe Neighborhood Initiative: 4th Tuesday of every month City School Dorchester
