Aliyah Gaines
Aliyah Gaines is a third year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Hampton University with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She is currently interested in surgery and medical education where she hopes to make a difference by improving the efficacy, efficiency, and accessibility of medical education for all students, especially students of color. Aliyah is a 3.0 Scholar at BAHEC who has been a part of the BAHEC family since 2018. She has served in many roles, including her work with Medical Education Intensive which prepares youth for medical careers by exposing them to various medical specialties, providing opportunity for long term mentorship from physicians and physicians in-training, and introducing students to the fundamental skills key to clinical reasoning. She enjoys teaching, mentoring, and building programming for our BAHEC students.
