Alexandria Whitted

Program Support Specialist

Alexandria Whitted received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health: Community Health and her Bachelor of Arts in African and African American Studies from East Carolina University. Alexandria, is working toward her Master of Public Health in Global Health Program Design, Monitoring and Evaluation with an additional concentration in Sex, Sexuality, and Gender from Boston University. As a native of rural Chadbourn, NC, she became interested in Public Health through the lenses of racial health disparities, health equity, access to quality care, sexual, and reproductive health. Alexandria helps change the landscape of public health through multiple roles at BU as a public health career consultant and qualitative researcher. Additionally, she enjoys creating, facilitating, and implementing energetic programs that close the health education equity gap in disadvantaged communities. Her dedication to supporting BAHEC programs and helping minority youth gain access to college and careers in healthcare is something she is very excited to be a part of.
