BPHC community conversations

BPHC, the City of Boston, and other stakeholders host community conversations to inform and engage residents in decisions that include public policy, strategic planning, and community benefits.

Achieving  racial justice and health equity  means engaging those residents affected by inequity. We need to listen to, and understand the issues that matter most to Boston residents. We also need to develop policies and actions where they are most needed.

2017 : Health and Fair Housing

BPHC and housing partners held a series of neighborhood meetings on shaping the future of housing choices in Boston. The series engaged residents and city officials on Boston’s future housing choices.

2018 : Mental Health and Community Violence 

BPHC and local youth serving agencies hosted a series of neighborhood-specific community conversations with youth on mental health and community violence. 

2019 : Boston Community Health Needs Assessment 

BPHC held four community health prioritization meetings with Roxbury and Mattapan residents. The meetings supported Boston’s Community Health Needs Assessment
