The South Boston Outpatient Clinic

Part of the South Boston Collaborative Center, the South Boston Outpatient Clinic is an Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment program providing substance abuse treatment to adults and adolescents.

The Center was founded in 1997 with assistance from Mayor Menino and the Commission to address public concern for teen suicide and overdose in the South Boston community. Today, the staff provide individual and group treatment, case management, and advocacy services. They also house a BMC-sponsored adolescent after-school program called the IOP/Build Program, an eight week skills-building program for dual diagnosed adolescents.

The Collaborative Center leads the South Boston Hope and Recovery Coalition, and partners with the Bureau's NoDrugs Coalitions and Opioid Overdose Project.
