Women's Employee Resource Group

We bring together women across all departments at the City of Boston.

Our employee resource group is a strategic partner with the City of Boston. We promote a culture of diversity and inclusion through learning. We work to advance the inclusion of employees with common backgrounds, interests, and goals. Our vision, mission, goals, and activities are aligned with those of the City of Boston.

Women's ERG leadership Team

The application to join the Women's ERG leadership team (or any ERG leadership team) will officially open on April 1, 2023. The application can be found online

Who can join? Any City of Boston woman employee. We welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people.

When do we meet? We aim to have general member meetings quarterly and sometimes more frequently when hosting a guest speaker, professional development workshop, or getting together for a social gathering.

What do we do? At our meetings, we discuss topics affecting women, girls, and their families. We discuss local, national, and global issues. We work to advance the inclusion of employees with common backgrounds, interests, and goals.

Have questions? Contact Kharlita.chamberswalker@boston.gov

*Please note that these are not paid positions. They are volunteer roles for women who would like to get more involved with ERGs.
