Coordinated Street Furniture

There are 441 pieces of street furniture in the City. They offer tourists and residents amenities like phones and bathrooms. The different types of street furniture match each other in style and architecture.
JCDecaux will run the program until 2026 at no cost to the City of Boston. The program has generated $36,637,430 in revenue for the City.

Street furniture by the numbers
City toilet locations:
- Across from Faneuil Hall on Congress Street
- In Shipyard Park, at the Constitution Pier in Charlestown
- At Central Wharf on Atlantic Avenue
- At the EDIC, across from Design Center Place
- At 2 Long Wharf
- At Roxbury and Dudley Square.
We have also installed:
- 281 bus shelters in the City
- 106 City information panels with maps
- 3 newsstands
- 47 digital billboards
- 42 telephone pillars
