The purpose of Memory Sunday is to highlight the impact of memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease in the African American community. At these events, faith-based organizations incorporate education about the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia into religious services and related programs. This includes discussion about ways to reduce the risk of developing dementia, raising awareness about the importance of research and sharing the support available for care partners.

Paula Titus Park Opening

 Join the community members and family of Paula and Charlie Titus at a grand opening ceremony to celebrate the completion of the park. Paula Titus Park was established as a new park in 2017 and was designed by CBA Landscape Architects. This park is dedicated in memory of Paula Pina Titus, who was born to and raised in a proud Cape Verdan family in Taunton, MA. Paula moved to Boston and settled on Fort Avenue in 1974 where she resided for four decades. Paula’s passion for love and Roxbury was unwavering. Please join us to celebrate the completion of the new developed park.
