Community Conversation: Boston Transportation and Accessibility

Boston Artist-in-Residence Ellice Patterson is working with the Boston Transportation Department (BTD) to host a community conversation to hear what is going well and what can be improved regarding access and community engagement in the city of Boston.

We want deaf and disabled folks (opening up the meaning for disability to include mental health, chronic illness, COVID longhaulers, other identities under disability, and more) that live and/or work in the city of Boston to participate. All participants will get $100 Visa gift card for one hour as payment for their time and lived experience. We want to hear from you and hope you can join us!

The meeting will be held on Monday, October 17 at 6 p.m. in the BTD conference room (Room 721) at Boston City Hall (1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201), and individuals can join in person or via Zoom. If you are attending in person, please enter through the back entrance on Congress Street.

We strongly encourage in-person attendees to wear masks, and will have masks with panels available for anyone who would prefer that as an option. ASL interpretation and CART will be provided.
