Make the Most of your Job or Internship

  1. Create a positive environment for yourself and others. futureBOS employees cultivate healthy and safe work environments by modeling appropriate and responsible work behaviors at all times. 
  2. Know your job schedule and be on-time for work. Employees should follow the work schedule provided by your site supervisor and commit to being on time for all scheduled shifts.
  3. Complete your time sheets. As a futureBOS employee, you should regularly document time worked using the time submission process provided by your site supervisor. 
  4. Dress appropriately. Dressing for success the workplace is important. Make sure you follow the dress code and personal appearance requirements for your position. 
  5. Maintain positive work values. futureBOS employees are professional, polite, courteous, and respectful at all times.
  6. Understand and follow the code of conduct. Possession of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, or other inappropriate material while at the workplace is strongly prohibited. Use of inappropriate or profane language and threatening or committing acts of violence (verbal or physical) is not allowed under any circumstances.
  7. Be present and prepared for work. Limit all use of personal electronics (phones, tablets, and other devices) unless it is for work related purposes and your supervisor has approved it.
