Susan Vong

Susan is the Founder and President of Poxy Clinical, where she brings more than 16 years of experience and expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of innovative life sciences technology spearheading change within the industry. Susan has supported over 400 clinical trial implementations for a range of industry leaders such as Genentech, Amgen, and Sunovion. Early examples of her work include a successfully led initiative which automated and streamlined the Clinical Trials payments process that positioned Amgen to be an early adopter and pioneer in generating real time clinical trial payments – resulting in increased efficiencies and cost savings in clinical trials.

Susan’s passion for identifying problems and developing innovative solutions has established her as a seasoned entrepreneur with multiple ventures in a diverse range of industries spanning events services, real estate, and the novel design, manufacturing, and distribution of educational language toys for children. After obtaining her degree from UCLA, she founded an event planning company that forged collaborations with notable organizations including NBC Studios and Nishimoto Trading Co. Her previous venture, DiscoverBee involved using her creative expertise to design and develop a novel children’s educational toy to support parents and educators to maintain the Hindi language in the United States.

As the child of refugees and first generation Asian American, Susan is committed to supporting humanitarian efforts in America. She led the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in fundraising and also initiated campaigns which enabled sponsored refugees a supported pathway to economic livelihood while resettling in the U.S. A dynamic leader in the business world, Susan is also a real estate investor and former member of the Pasadena Angels venture fund where she supported the due diligence of biotech start-ups resulting in over $1 million dollars investments in innovative technologies.
