Emma Staff is the Policy Director for the Office of Women's Advancement. Prior to joining the MOWA team she worked as the sole Legislative Aide to State Representative Tommy Vitolo developing policy, serving constituents, and managing the office. Emma's passion for public service began in the Office of Senator Elizabeth Warren where she worked on the Immigration Team, assisting constituents with visa applications. She went on to work at the Vermont Department of Health's Division of Maternal and Child Health where she learned how to build health equity capacity and integrate equity into policy. Emma holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy and Equity Studies from the University of Vermont. A longtime resident of Massachusetts, she currently lives in Jamaica Plain and is honored to serve her community.
