Project Phase
Project Information
This work improves accessibility, provides fire protection, increases energy efficiency through the installation of a heat pump, and replaces playground equipment. BPS, the Public Facilities Department, and the City of Boston cut the ribbon on the project on October 27, 2025. You can view photos from the event and the video here.
To ensure Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, we have dedicated more than $21.5 million for a large-scale renovation, including:
- a new entranceway and playground
- trees and plantings
- a school garden and fencing
- lighting and security cameras, and
- new and renovated interior spaces.
