Joanna Vodola

Reentry Case Manager

Originally from Connecticut, Joanna Vodola attended Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, earning dual degrees in political science and Latin American studies. After spending a year in Philadelphia, Joanna returned to Boston to pursue her lifelong passion for social justice. A strong champion of a personalized approach, Joanna has worked in the non-profit sector bringing resources and opportunities to individuals and families from marginalized and low-income communities. Joanna brings a wealth of experience from working in adult education and workforce development. In addition, she has developed and grown vital programs for English language learners and immigrant families. Joanna continues to use her voice to advocate for the community and bring opportunities to the returning citizens of Boston.

In her free time, Joanna enjoys hiking with her dog, painting, and finding new places to eat around the city. Joanna holds a passion for the visual arts and loves exploring exhibits in the many museums and community spaces in Boston. Also, Joanna promotes healthy living and nurturing the mind, body, and spirit by teaching exercise classes on the weekends and advocating for women’s health.
