Jennifer Tracey
Jennifer Tracey is the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Services (ORS), the first and only municipal substance use recovery office in the United States. The Mayor’s Office of Recovery Services leads all substance use recovery policy and initiatives for the City of Boston.
Before serving as ORS’ inaugural director, Jen served as the Director of the Office of Youth and Young Adults at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). At BSAS, Jen developed age-appropriate recovery services for young adults, including the first young adult residential treatment programs in the City, and helped oversee the opening of Massachusetts’s first recovery high schools. Prior to this, Jen served as the Boston Regional Manager at BSAS, where she oversaw substance use prevention, intervention, and support services in Boston’s neighborhoods.
Jen holds a Master of Social Work from Salem State College and a bachelor’s degree from Providence college. She lives in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
