FAQs
No, you do not need to create an account. Instead, each request will now come with a “security key” in order to access your furnished records.
All requests submitted before June 22 will be transferred to JustFOIA. If you have any further questions about your request, please email publicrecords@boston.gov.
The security key you will be provided with will be your access to each individual request you make .
You will receive an email from the Public Records Department once your request has been fulfilled. If records are furnished, you will need your security key to access those records.
Please email publicrecords@boston.gov if you lose your security key.
