Andrew Cherry currently serves as the Senior Intake Specialist at the Office of Police Accountability and Transparency and has worked for the City of Boston for about three years. Prior to joining the city, he primarily worked as an Organizing Director on progressive political campaigns in and around Boston, including the 2020 Voter Choice MA campaign for Ranked Choice Voting and the 2021 Michelle Wu for Mayor campaign. Andrew grew up in a small town along the Hudson River in upstate New York and moved to Boston in 2015 to attend Northeastern University, where he received his B.A. in Communication and Political Science. When he’s not at work, he can likely be found hanging out with his cat, watching movies at the Coolidge Corner Theatre, or spending time with loved ones.
