As the Finance & Grants/Contracts Manager for the Office of Participatory Budgeting (OPB), Blanca manages and monitors the daily financial operations of the department, and ensures that contracts and grants are administered and monitored to maintain compliance with the terms of agreements.  

Blanca brings a wealth of financial experience from her previous roles in higher education and pharma. Prior to joining OPB, Blanca contributed to the establishment of operational activities and the implementation of procurement and contract management systems at Sumitomo Pharma Oncology. Additionally, assisted with the implementation of Diverse and Women Owned suppliers to participate in Northeastern University's existing ecommerce tool.

Blanca is originally from Honduras and speaks Spanish. She holds a Masters degree in Project Management from Northeastern University.
