The focus of the renovation will be on the City owned section from Porter Street to Marginal Street with the goal to:

  • reduce storm water and coastal flooding, both near-term and long-term
  • provide cool spots along the greenway to help mitigate the Urban Heat Island, and
  • promote tree health.

We look forward to advancing these goals as we move forward with the design process. The construction budget is $3,700,000.
