McLean Playground, established in 1917, is located on busy Bennington Street, adjacent to and heavily used by the Excel Academy middle school students before, during, and after the school day. The playground offers a number of mature shade trees and is a green haven in a dense neighborhood. The Parks Department is excited to work on this project and provide improvements that will benefit the school and the community.
