Improvements to John J. Ryan Playground

Ryan Playground in Charlestown is known for its Little League and softball diamonds, waterfront promenade, batting cages, roller hockey rink, children’s play area, and its unique waterfront location on the Mystic River.

January UPDATE: We have our contract executed, and the contractor will start setting up fencing shortly. Thank you for your patience in advance - here we go!  We will be posting construction updates below on a monthly basis. Look for the next one in February 2025.
