Improvements to John J. Ryan Playground

| Park Established 1891 |

Ryan Playground in Charlestown is known for its Little League and softball diamonds, waterfront promenade, batting cages, roller hockey rink, children’s play area, and its unique waterfront location on the Mystic River.

JUNE 2024 UPDATE: We have finalized our drawings, and the project is out to bid! We hope to start construction in September 2024, and will notify community members 2 weeks in advance via signs in the park, email, and this project page. Thank you for your patience in the meantime. Please check back in here for updates.
