Charlie is a true Bostonian, deeply rooted in the city's culture and passionate about sports, especially when it comes to youth involvement. With over two decades of experience coaching and organizing leagues across various sports, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

Starting his journey as a Youth Worker at the Leahy-Holloran Community Center in 2009, Charlie's commitment to the city's youth was evident from the beginning. Over time, he transitioned to the role of Athletic Director at the same center, furthering his dedication to encourage sportsmanship and camaraderie among the youth of Dorchester.

In 2019, Charlie embarked on a new chapter by joining the Boston Parks & Recreation Department as a Program Manager. This move allowed him to extend his influence beyond his neighborhood and contribute to enhancing recreational opportunities citywide. His extensive background in programming and coaching helped to elevate the quality of offerings provided by the department. Furthermore, ensuring that every corner of Boston had access to top-notch sports programs and events.

His involvement in creating leagues and serving on various boards across different sports and nonprofits shows his commitment to community engagement and development. Charlie's goal is clear: to provide exceptional programming and events that enrich the lives of Bostonians of all ages and backgrounds.

In his personal time, Charlie stays in the world of sports, coaching his children, refereeing games, and actively participating in adult recreational leagues throughout Boston, showcasing his passion for athletics both on and off the field.
