As a Senior Policy Advisor, Anshi Moreno Jimenez spearheads efforts under Mayor Wu’s Chief of Policy and Strategic Initiatives to realize Mayor Wu’s transformative vision for Boston. Her work primarily focuses on youth-related initiatives and Boston Public Schools facilities and program updates. Anshi is dedicated to developing strategic plans that celebrate the unique character of each neighborhood while addressing the longstanding issues her family has experienced as lifelong Roxbury residents. By facilitating community conversations, she aims to ensure that initiatives are continually updated to reflect the needs and aspirations of residents across the city.

Since graduating from Harvard University in 2019, Anshi has served in local government in both New York City and Boston. Prior to her current role, she played a pivotal role in Mayor Michelle Wu's successful mayoral campaign and earned her Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2023. Anshi is an immigrant from Ecuador, a proud lifelong resident of Roxbury, an alumna of BPS Hennigan School, and an avid soccer player.
