Neftali graduated from Boston University with a degree in Political Science. Before joining the Office of Language and Communications Access (OLCA), she worked at the Community Action Agency of Somerville managing two housing voucher programs. Neftali is passionate about ensuring that all people, no matter where they come from or who they are, have equal opportunity to succeed.

Neftali is fluent in Spanish and is originally from Houston, Texas. In her free time, you can find her playing video games, reading, or watching a baseball game.
