JocCole “JC” Burton is CEO of Maven Construction. Ms. Burton is a Boston-based construction executive who has spent nearly three decades in the real estate development and construction industry. Ms. Burton is the founder and CEO of Maven Construction, Inc. A Dorchester based general contractor with multimillion dollar annual revenue. Maven provides general contracting for the life science, high density residential and tenant up-fit products. Ms. Burton has been a well sought after thought leader contributing to early versions of the LEED rating system, publication of the EcoDistrict’s Protocol and founder of SRGE, Boston’s Equity Impact Construction Incubator. Ms. Burton’s work has been acknowledged by the White House as a Champion of Change.

She has served on the Boston Planning and Development Agency Board, the Boston Employment Commission and she is also the first black woman appointed to the City of Boston Licensure Commission.

Ms. Burton is the mother of one school-aged daughter. In her spare time, you can find JC with her daughter roller skating, cooking, advocating for better food access for under-resourced children, and finding new ways to support emerging leaders in STEM.
