Flavio Daveiga
Flavio Daveiga moved to the City of Boston at the age of 10, grew up in Roxbury, and attended Boston Public Schools through high school. After high school, Flavio attended Worcester State College and Northeastern University. He was an active member of his community with both St. Patrick's Church youth ministry and the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI) Youth Council. He was part of the first youth job advocacy team project in the Dudley triangle, working with DSNI to advocate bringing more jobs to the community for young people.
Flavio was hired as a youth program coordinator with CVC UNIDO and the Boston Police to implement violence prevention and intervention programs in the Cape Verdean community. He went on to work at Catholic Charities Teen Center at St. Peter's as a career specialist and volunteer recruiter. He was then appointed as the Cape Verdean liaison and Mid Dorchester Neighborhood Services coordinator in July 2010. Flavio transitioned to the Inspectional Services team in 2018 as the Director of Constituent Services and chair of the Investigation and Enforcement team.
He is very passionate about helping others and takes pride in the work he does for the City of Boston and his community.
