Jasmary Pena-Noriega

Constituent Services and Community Outreach Coordinator

As the Constituent Services and Community Outreach Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), Jasmary engages with Boston’s immigrant residents to deliver effective constituent services by supporting outreach to diverse immigrant communities and strengthening collaborative referral networks with immigrant serving communities-based organizations.

She previously worked with the City of Boston’s Age Strong Commission, focusing on neighborhoods with a high volume of immigrant residents and providing constituent services to older adults to help them access information, programs, and services. Her role taught her about the benefits that constituents are entitled to but are not aware of.

Jasmary is originally from Ecuador and moved to the United States when she was 12. Coming from an immigrant family she knows the struggles of having no knowledge of all the resources available for immigrants. She loves that her role allows her to contribute and give back to immigrant communities by helping them have the same access to services and providing meaningful resources.

Jasmary is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She is fluent in Spanish.
