Charlestown Youth Gaming Study

Studying the impact of the Encore Casino on youth in Charlestown.

The Mayor's Office of Human Services received a grant from the Mass Gaming Commission to study the impacts of the Encore Casino on youth ages 14-25 in Charlestown. Together with our research partner, YZ Design Works, and youth in the neighborhood, we will be fielding a study in spring 2025. 

Get Involved

If you are a young person, parent, or the leader of a youth-serving organization in Charlestown, we want to hear from you! We have part-time stipended research positions for youth and are interested in partnering with youth-serving organizations to get the word out about participating in the research project.
