Samhitha Vaidhyasubramaniam
Samhitha Vaidhyasubramaniam is a student of the Masters in Public Policy program at Northeastern University. Her focus areas of expertise are in the Public Policy Framework and Program/Project Evaluation, which are to understand the needs of developing countries to enrich their social comparative. Samhitha aspires to do a comparative study between developed and developing countries' approaches towards public policy programs for building social infrastructure with a particular interest in Education.
Samhitha’s interest in public policy development was visible during her undergraduate studies between 2020-23, wherein she had the opportunity to work with grass root organizations and civil societies in the field of education & talent development. She interned at Sci Arts Services in Madison, USA, and also for Janagraha, another grassroots organization in India. With her penchant for developing solutions for the deserving sections of society, Samhitha hopes that her focus on Education shall build an enlightened, humane society. During her free time, Samhitha sings traditional carnatic-style songs and also loves understanding different cultures.
