Legal Help for Housing Crisis

Get free legal advice from the Office of Housing Stability and learn about how to contact lawyers that can help you. The Office of Housing Stability can connect you with lawyers that can assist you if you are facing an eviction. There are also other legal resources available to renters in Boston.

The Office of Housing Stability’s weekly Legal Clinic is temporarily suspended while we restructure the program. In the meantime, please seek assistance from one of the resources listed below. Each organization has its own eligibility requirements, availability, and intake process, so legal assistance or representation cannot be guaranteed. For general housing questions, please reach out at 617-635-4200 or housing@boston.gov.
