Savannah McLean
Savannah is joining the GrowBoston team as their new Program Assistant. With her background in environmental education and community engagement, she is excited to support GrowBoston in this role. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Sciences, she worked as an Academic Advisor and then a Program Advisor at Berklee College of Music, creating programming for and supporting students of African descent. She also spent 3 summers as an environmental education teacher at Camp Foxfire in Windsor, Connecticut. Her love for Boston and the outdoors drew her to the GrowBoston office and its work supporting local communities and farmers with urban agriculture projects throughout the city.
When Savannah is not at work she enjoys traveling, playing guitar, reading books she finds in the little free libraries around the city, and spending quality time with friends.
