Annabel (Nubs) Rabiyah (they/them) is an urban grower, program manager, seed, and culture keeper based in Boston, on Massachusetts land. In their current position as Boston Region Engagement Manager for the Trustees, they oversee programming and coordination for 56 of Boston's Community Gardens, as well as the Boston Waterfront Initiative. They have over 10 years of experience educating and farming in Boston, having worked with Nubia Farms, CitySprouts, The Food Project, and most recently as Farm Manager for the Rooftop Farm at Boston Medical Center.

In 2017 they co-founded Awafi Kitchen, a cultural initiative that uplifts Iraqi food and culture through pop-up food events, cooking demonstrations, and presentations on Iraqi history. In 2020, they co-founded the Iraqi Seed Collective, a group of Iraqi heritage people and seed keepers devoted to preserving the cultural and genetic legacy of Iraqi heirloom crops at risk of extinction. The collective has bloomed into a network of growers across the U.S. saving seed for more than 15 heirloom crops, as well as partnerships with growers in Iraq. In addition to their cultural organizing work, they are an active member of liberation movements on the ground in Boston.
