Cannabis Business Empowerment Program
Learn more about the Cannabis Business Empowerment Program, a previous initiative from the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA) in collaboration with the Boston Cannabis Equity Program.
The Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion’s Cannabis Industry Development team awarded the Cannabis Equity Grant to the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA). The goal of the grant was to support equity applicants and businesses through various means, such as offering access to funding resources, grant opportunities, or other innovative initiatives that can help equity applicants and licensees overcome barriers and achieve long-term success.
Through this grant, BECMA has launched the Cannabis Business Empowerment Program. The program will provide targeted financial, technical, and operational support to Certified Boston Cannabis Equity Applicants and or Businesses.
