Civic Summit 2026

We the People celebrates the voices shaping Boston's past and future.

The Civic Summit returns on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, bringing together up to 300 attendees. This year's theme, "We the People," reflects on the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding and invites participants to explore the evolving meaning of democracy, civic participation, and belonging.

This year's Summit will highlight the voices, experiences, and contributions of the many communities that make up Boston today while fostering meaningful conversations about civic engagement and collective action.

The program will feature a fireside chat with Mayor Michelle Wu, a panel discussion centered on this year's theme, and breakout sessions led by subject matter experts, including faculty from Boston University.

Thank you to our partners, Cities Forward and Boston University Questrom School of Business, for making the Civic Summit possible.
