Civic Power Pledge

Be a leader in your community. Check out our list of civic activities and sign the Civic Power Pledge to get started!

Civic engagement can take many forms, including:

  • voting on election day
  • weighing in at a local neighborhood meeting
  • volunteering in your community, or
  • hosting a neighborhood gathering.

Being engaged means having a stake in what happens in your neighborhood and working together to make improvements.

The Civic Power Pledge encourages residents and businesses to embrace their civic power and engage with their local government. We want to build a sense of community, address shared concerns, and improve the quality of life for all Bostonians.
