Pools and Splash Pads

Our pools and splash pads provide Boston residents with a safe place to cool off, to learn how to swim, and to have fun. The City of Boston operates 21 pools and numerous splash pads citywide, in addition to splash pads and pools operated by partner organizations.

Mayor Wu is working to get as many pools open as possible in time for the start of summer 2024. Learn more about the status of city pools.

To find the hours for community center pools, click on the links in the pop-ups on the map below. If you have questions about a community center pool, please contact the community center directly.

Splash pads are usually open mid-June to mid-September, from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Find issues at a spray park? Contact the Park Line at 617-635-7275, or dial 3-1-1.
