Ahn Nguyen was born to Vietnamese refugees and raised on a farm in Central Massachusetts. She began her career in newspaper advertising with Sampan Newspaper and then the Boston Globe. Today, she is the Executive Director of Bowdoin Geneva Main Streets, helping revitalize the small business community.

Anh has served as a board member for the Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development, the City of Boston’s Voter Task Force, and as the Interim Executive Director of the Vietnamese American Civic Association.
