Anil Saleem is a Senior Data Analyst on the Citywide Analytics Team, leveraging over a decade of expertise in data analysis, lean methodologies, and impact evaluation to improve public services in Boston. Anil specializes in designing interactive dashboards, driving process automation, and utilizing GIS tools to optimize city operations, including 311 services, asset management, and public works.

With a Master’s in Education Policy Analysis from Harvard and a background of Economics & Statistics, Anil combines technical expertise with a passion for evidence-based policymaking. Prior to joining the City, he led transformative data initiatives across global organizations, including developing real-time monitoring systems for education and social policy interventions.

When he’s not diving into data, Anil can be found biking along Constitution beach, hunting for the best coffee in Boston, or reading The Economist.
