2024 Age Strong Needs Assessment

Let your voice be heard!

Age Strong is conducting a needs assessment to learn more about the needs, concerns, and priorities of Boston’s older adults. Information will be gathered via surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions to learn more about the experiences of older adults and their caregivers. The goal is to create an Age Strong Plan which aims to make Boston inclusive and accessible to people of all ages. This is a valuable opportunity to let your voice be heard! We want to hear your ideas about how we can make Boston a better place to age.

Who is eligible to participate:

  • Anyone aged 50 or over who lives in Boston and anyone who cares for an older adult is invited to take the survey and join a listening session.
  • Participants can take the survey using a computer, phone, or tablet. Paper surveys will also be available at a number of community events, senior centers, and senior buildings this fall. Check back soon for a complete list of locations.
  • The survey will be available online soon in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Cape Verdean Creole, Somali, Russian, French, and Portuguese.
