Entertainment Licensing

We license and regulate entertainment activities in Boston. 

LICENSING DIVISION updates:
  • 2025 License Renewals will be mailed directly to the licensed premises at the end of October. Deadline: November 30, 2024. If you do not receive a renewal, please email us at Entertainment@boston.gov for a copy.
  • Submit 2025 Renewal
  • Please note: 2025 Licenses will NOT be emailed. Licenses will be available for pick-up at City Hall (Room 809) starting December 9, 2024 - December 31, 2024.
