Budget Educational Workshops: Asian and Pacific Islander community
The Office of Budget Management invites you to use your voice to impact the budget. Learn how this November.
The City of Boston invites you to participate in a Budget Educational Workshop. The workshops will:
- Demystify the budget process
- Help constituents understand the different types of budgets and the budget timeline
- Highlight engagement success stories
- Share who you should talk to and when to make your voice heard

Full schedule of workshops
- Workshop for youths (in collaboration with Youth Engagement and Employment’s Youth Council), Wednesday, November 2, 6 - 7 p.m. in City Hall, Iannella Chamber, 5th Floor (also will be streamed via Zoom). Spanish interpretation will be available virtually and in person. CART will be available virtually.
- Black community (in collaboration with the Office of Black Male Advancement), Thursday, November 3, 6 - 7 p.m. in Grove Hall Library. Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Somali, and CART interpretation will be available.
- Asian and Pacific Islander community, Friday, November 4, 3 - 4 p.m. in Copley Library, McKim Building, Orientation Room. Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and CART interpretation will be available.
- Latinx and Hispanic community, Monday, November 7, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in East Boston Library. Spanish interpretation will be available.
- LGBTQ+ community (in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement), Wednesday, November 9, 6 - 7 p.m., virtual meeting. Spanish, ASL, and CART interpretation will be available.
- Persons with disabilities (in collaboration with the Disabilities Commission), Thursday, November 10, 3 - 4 p.m., Copley Library, McKim Building, Orientation Room.
- Virtual session for any of the above groups, Thursday, November 10, 6 - 7 p.m.
