BERDO Webinar: Hardship Compliance Plans for 2025 and 2026

The City of Boston’s Environment Department invites you to attend a webinar on Boston’s Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO). BERDO sets requirements for large existing buildings in Boston to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions over time. 

At this event, we will provide a brief introduction to Hardship Compliance Plans and explain the processes, requirements, and deadlines to apply for:

• 2025 short-term Hardship Compliance Plans (for building owners facing unforeseen circumstances)
• 2026 long-term Hardship Compliance Plans (Application Deadline: April 1, 2025)
• 2026 short-term Hardship Compliance Plans (Application Deadline: Oct 1, 2025)

This event will be held virtually over Zoom on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., including a time dedicated to Q&A.
