Thanks to all those who joined the meeting last night! Support was strong for open space, with additional support expressed for affordable housing. MOH is considering both possibilities in conversati on with the Highland Park Project Review Committee, and seeking continued input from the community. Please find the recording and slides below, with slides translated into Haitian Creole and Spanish to come.

Highland Park Walking Tour

Thanks to all the community members who joined us for this walking tour on a chilly fall morning. We discussed the potential of this parcel as a future community open space and whether it could be use d for affordable housing development. A community meeting will follow in spring 2024.

Millmont Street Community Meeting

Thank you to the many community members who joined us to discuss the future of this parcel on Millmont Street. Thank you also to the Highland Park Project Review Committee for co-hosting the meeting. Attendees supported use of the site as an open space with native plants and seating areas. Attendees also discussed whether the garage on site is in good condition and could be used for bicycle storage. There was support for further community engagement and a long public comment period to gather feedback from direct abutters.
