Project Goals
One 4000 sq ft parcel zoned 1F-6000. Heavily wooded, near some REMS parcels, adjacent to a single-family home. Does not look developable, and does not appear to have been encroached on. 231 Itasca next door is owner-occupied. Prime for RFP.
The Department of Neighborhood Development acquires surplus and foreclosed property and is responsible for managing this real estate. We work to create housing and open space by making that land available to Bostonians over time through a public Request for Proposals process. This parcel of land is not yet planned for development, but stay tuned!
