Project Goals

Construction began on this project in the fall of 2018 and was completed in the fall of 2020. The project includes 4 owner-occupied homeownership units, including one income-restricted unit. All of the units have been designed and built under the guidelines of the City's Energy Positive (E+) program, and the homes will produce more energy than they consume on a yearly basis.

DND and the BRA will have a 2nd community meeting on February 3, 2013 to discuss pursuing energy efficient, Energy Positive homeownership development on the site. The meeting will start at 6:30 and be held at Talbot Bernard Homes, 193 Talbot Avenue, Dorchester. The meeting is a follow-up to our October 28, 2014 meeting with Talbot Norfolk Triangle (TNT) Neighors United and community residents. At the February 3rd meeting we will review development objectives that will serve as the basis for a forthcoming housing Request for Proposals.
