PMD - Office Renovations Boston Retirement System,

The City of Boston acting by its Property Management Department, through its Commissioner of the Property Management Department (PMD), hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project. 

The scope of work includes partial demolition, new construction, asbestos abatement, removal and replacement of flooring, painting, HVAC, fire suppression and electrical as further detailed in the plans and specifications which will be available on or about October 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.  through the City of Boston Supplier Portal at https://procurement.boston.gov/psupplierportal Event ID EV00014836 or electronically by emailing pmdbidinfo@boston.gov.

A site visit has been scheduled for all interested vendors on October 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.  Bidders will meet in Room 811. 

Deadline for questions: October 24, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.  All questions must be submitted in writing directly to pmdbidinfo@boston.gov.

All filed Sub-Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority before 12:00 p.m. (twelve o'clock) on October 31, 2024, at which time and place respective Sub-Bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud.  LATE SUB-BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

All General Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority before 12:00 p.m. (twelve o'clock) on November 7, 2024, at which time and place respective General Bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud.  LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

General bid:  General Building Construction

Filed Sub-bids and General Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work) and DCAMM Update Statement. All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid.

A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
