Green New Deal for Boston Public Schools Contracting Technical Assistance

Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30B, the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department (PFD), is requesting proposals from firms for Green New Deal for Boston Public Schools Contracting Technical Assistance.

The scope of work generally consists of consultant services to the City of Boston on strategies to best manage the construction and renovation work under the Green New Deal for Boston Public Schools (GND for BPS) initiative and is further detailed in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

The initial term of the contract will be one year. The City reserves the right to exercise at the City’s sole discretion additional contract periods and services as set forth under the RFP.

The GND for BPS Contracting Technical Assistance RFP will be available beginning April 3, 2023, and may be obtained by visiting the Supplier Portal at boston.gov/procurement and searching for Event #11990. 

Proposals should be submitted virtually through the Supplier Portal, or physically to the Public Facilities Department Bid Room at 1010 Massachusetts Ave. Boston, MA 02119. Submission instructions are further detailed in the RFP. 

Interested parties should send an email to bid.info@boston.gov to request to receive any and all addenda via email.

Any questions related to the content of the RFP should be submitted to bid.info@boston.gov by 12 p.m. on April 19, 2023. Responses will be posted via addendum on the Supplier Portal no later than 48 hours prior to the proposal deadline, and will be emailed to anyone who has requested email updates via bid.info@boston.gov.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 12 p.m. on April 26, 2023.
